About Dr. Gangaram Ragi

Dr. Gangaram Ragi earned his medical degree at Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad, India. He continued his training with a Residency in Dermatology from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Dr. Ragi then went on to complete a Fellowship in Dermatologic Surgery and Oncology at Roswell Park Memorial Institute in Buffalo, New York, and a second Fellowship in Mohs Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.

Board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology, Dr. Ragi has been in private practice in Teaneck since 1997. He has held numerous positions within the Dermatological Society of New Jersey, including serving as President and Advisor to Medicare for the organization. Dr. Ragi is also a former Chief of the Department of Dermatology at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, and former Chief of Mohs Surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York.

Very active in professional associations, Dr. Ragi is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, American College of Mohs Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology and American Society of Laser Surgery and Medicine, as well as a member of the New Jersey Dermatology Society. He is the author of numerous articles published in peer-reviewed journals and has educated other medical professionals with presentations at medical conferences and meetings throughout the region and around the country.
